I am someone with a love for old, metal and glass, manual focus lenses; the connection to making a photo that manual focus brings, the interesting and sometimes unusual characteristics of old lenses, golden lens flares, rainbow lens flares, swirly bokeh and the sometimes interesting stories behind the lenses. I do use some modern lenses when it suits. I am also a big fan of lighting and the control / options it can bring to a shoot.
